In my journey, I've discovered that even if the forecast predicts rain on the day of your engagement session, there's no need to worry. Why, you may ask? Let me tell you.</p><p></p><p>Risk-taking is an essential part of life. And taking the risk of going ahead with your session, despite the weather forecast, could lead to some truly magical results. You see, after the storm, the sky often clears up to reveal a spectacle of colors, creating the most romantic and dramatic backdrop for your photos. </p><p></p><p>Now, I understand that this might sound daunting. You're already dealing with the stress of planning your wedding, and now, you have to worry about the weather as well. But let me reassure you. As your photographer, it's my job to guide you through whatever the weather brings. I've been doing this since 2010, and I've seen it all. I've witnessed how a downpour can turn into a soft drizzle, how the clouds can part to reveal a breathtaking sunset, and how a grey, gloomy day can result in some of the most beautiful and atmospheric photographs. </p><p></p><p>So, my advice to you is this: Don't stress about the weather. <p>Hello there! Yesterday, I had the pleasure of being a part of the Elounda Extravaganza Tea Party, a stunning event that was brimming with love, laughter, and yes, a touch of southern royalty. As I clicked away, I was reminded once again of why I love doing what I do.</p><p></p><p>The highlight of the event was the couple, @lindsey__matchell and @noahhuntonmusic. Their chemistry was electric and it was a joy to capture their love through my lens. The best part? They're truly in love and engaged in real life, which made the experience even more authentic and exciting. Their love story was the true essence of southern royalty vibes, and I was there to capture every moment of it. </p><p></p><p>I was invited by the amazing team at @sarasotaonestopweddingshop who hosted the event. They did a phenomenal job in ensuring that everything was perfect, down to the last detail. The venue, Elounda Estate, was the epitome of elegance and sophistication, providing the perfect backdrop for my photos. </p><p></p><p>The bride, @lindsey__matchell, looked absolutely stunning in a dress from @trulyforeverbridaltampa. The dress complemented her perfectly, and as she walked down the aisle, it was as if time had stopped. I can't forget the boutonniere from @fauxreal.brandon, adding the perfect finishing touch to the groom's attire.</p><p></p><p>But what is a wedding without a wedding film to remember it by? I encourage clients to send me inspirational photos or "must have" poses so we can fulfill their entire vision.</p>

I've been a photographer since 2010, back in the good ol' Warped Tour days, starting with music photography, then finding my way to portraits, families, and then fell in love with weddings in 2013. Even after doing this for over 10 years, I still cry when dads speak at toasts....or when your grandma sees you in your dress...or when your dog walks up to you and your fiancee in their lil tux or wedding outfit. 

My brand is Heart & Root Photography because I am so proud of my background and upbringing. All my experiences collectively- from when my dad first showed me the mechanics of a camera all the way to the moments of me photographing my first born son- have lead me to this very point in life.

This is why I hold so much value in photography.
